shocks?

Hey,
I've got a 99 sr5. I'm installing a 2.5in coil spacer lift this weekend and was wondering whether or not I should replace my shocks and if so, what shocks should I look for? It's got 137000 miles on it, but the ride doesnt seem at all rough. I am really new to this so I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks again


P.S. if anyone has pictures of a 2.5in coil spacer lift on a 3rd gen. I would love to see them.

I'm still running stock shocks on 6" of lift. I will replace them when needed. But it's always good to upgrade anything!

Yea, I've gotta figure it out first. I tried posting pics and lost my patients. I went in yesterday for the install...the bonehead ordered the wrong kit...He ordered the 2.5 in. front coil spacer kit. I was wondering why it was so cheap ($295 out the door). Its a good thing Im friends with them all, he ordered the rear kit and is going to install it for free. total cost $425. Front looks really clean. Cannot wait for the back.. I'll post pics.. Thanks for the response.

Well it came in Monday, and he installed it that night. I really like it, and was very impressed. Expected the rear to sag a bit, but not at all. Rides like a truck, but I dont mind at all. And like everyone has said already, quick lift for very little cash. We'll see how she does off road.

P.S. - also just removed all flares and mud flaps. Grille guard and head/taillight covers should be here soon. Lemme know what cha think.

I'm sure you'll love it. Very inexpensive, looks awesome, and isn't much change in the ride. I am very happy with it, hope you will be too!
