Shocks

I have a 2004 V8 Limited 4WD 4runner. I was looking into buying new shocks for it that is good for off roading and I also tow trailers. Which shocks would be the best to get? Also, I don't have any upgrades or changes to the vehicle.

FJ shocks

I would look into picking up some gently used FJ Cruiser shocks and springs. I got an entire set off of ebay for $40 and they only had a couple thousand miles on them. Alot of FJ drivers put in aftermarket suspension and let the OEM stuff go cheap. Check out fjcruiserforums.com in the classifieds. The springs are a little stiffer then 4Runner's and add a bit of lift.

Are you going to be off roading a little or a lot?You have many good choices out there for good off roading shocks and coilovers.You could use ome's,icons,bilsteins,camburg's there all good.It all depends how much coin you want to spend.Search the offroading threads here or check out Toyota120.com.Those guys know there off roading stuff,I'm a member there also.:zoom:
