Few steps ahead of you. My switches are mounted and I picked up 20' of 10 conductor wire today. :boxing:

yeah i cant mount mine there because of my touch screen double din. u think i can fit 6 smaller switches in the garage door opener door?
how was wiring everything?
whats going to suck is working around the head liner for these wires.

I think you could easily fit 6 switches in the top sunglasses/garage door opener compartment. As for working around the head liner.... Its not that bad with us having the rear hatch to open and shimmy the thing out.
I'll be running my wires through one of the roof rack grommets at the back of the roof.

Yeah rear bumper is in the process in a few years.
Jburt. I havnt seen the 3d printer where he put it but I have used one in my cad class.
No cb there.
So it sounds like the head liner is easy enough. Never done it. Think I'll have to run with the truck apart for a few days so I can get all this wiring done.

Oh man, Driving around with out the head liner sucks. Last time I was in a vehicle with no head liner my head was splitting from the drone. Mind you it also had no back seat or carpet and the exhaust was loud, might not be as bad in the 4runner. You also have to pull every piece of trim off to pull the liner, this includes at least partially removing the front seat belts.
I would first get the switches set up in the cubby. Figure out where your wires are running, power/grounds and any thing that requires the liner out. Set aside a long day or weekend, enough time to at least get the liner back in and a few clips/trim panels to hold it.

Got some updates today.
Last night I started tearing the truck apart. Broke a Phillips bit on my impact drill in order to get my OH S**T handles off. When it broke it stripped the bolt so I had to drill the head off in order to get the handle off then I plan on grabbing it with vice grips. That blue lock tight was globed on those bolts.
Not to mention those 6 push in clips in the trunk area absolutely SUCK!
I plan on rocking the truck like this for a few days until I get all my wiring finished. Then I'll install the lights and everything else. YAY!

still my KC driving long range spots with 100W bulbs up front
4 4X4 light pods on the roof in between the roof rails. (2 on each side pointing in each direction to use for side light.
45" bar upfront by the wind shield (waiting for more money)
then im not quite sure what i want to go with for reverse lights. im thinking about attaching some type of bracket to the rear wing and mount the lights back there somewhere.

White wires on relays were pulled off to not be used.
Yellow and 1 red wire (supposed to be black) go up to switches. For a signal and jumper power relay.
Black wires are fused relays pos. red are relay grounds.
Blue wires go up to the lights then I will ground them all on the roof. (Maybe. What's your input on keeping that ground connection clean and dry from corrosion?
