I attempted to get it done today myself, but, to no avail. The bolts are seized beyond belief, lol. How much would you guys estimate this install to cost at a shop?

It will cost much more than a can of pb blaster and a longer cheater pipe. Don't give up!

Try a air impact gun. That should do the trick.

About $350.00 give or take.

Done the pb and breaker.. been soaking the bolts in pb for the past few days:/// got quoted $325 for install and alignment.

That's not bad. A good alignment can cost ~$100, so $225 is reasonable for the install.

Have them take a look at your steering rack bushing while your there, Just sayin.

Do it. I had to get mine done in the shop too. They had to use a torch to take the top nut off. Ended up shearing them off anyway. Took my buddy, the mechanic, five hours. He also broke one of the cv axles in the process. Charged me 3 hours including mounting and balancing tires. Had to go elsewhere for the alignment. I drove it for a few hundred miles before getting the alignment done to allow the springs to settle in. That way I know it's gonna be good for the long haul. It was on company time so he charged me 391 and the alignment was another 75.
Jump on it and make sure they stick to the price haha.

I just did mine 2 weeks ago and the top nuts were stuck. I twisted and twisted and they twisted right off :bravo: Old shocks fell out :boxer: and in went the new ones! :cheers: Get a cheater pipe!

Already attempted. Didn't work! Shop's a month and a half booked. Guess I'm gonna get a buddy with some heavy duty tools to help

Since they are going to break anyways, I'd get them cherry red with a torch or just blast them off with it. Make life easy. Just watch what is in the line of fire! Lol
