Should I get any of this stuff

Dude offered the chevy springs and procomps for $200 and even offered two $100 payments.....very tempted but I really want to save for a locker or find a diff thats already welded to throw in. Will the welded 4.30 rear in this add work for my '87?

1st add with springs

Those rear axles are not as wide as yours, you'd wanna run spacers to match the width of the IFS front. The third itself would work in your axle, though.

I'm not a fan of lincoln lockers, even in a dedicated trail rig. For the price of that rear end, you could buy a spool to accomplish the same thing, with the bonus of being able to reverse it if you don't like it.

Would the third give me any advantage? Sorry I am new to this 1st gen stuff and new to gearing altogether.

Huge off road advantage. But will wear your tires very fast if driven on the road alot. And takes a little bit to get use to driving in snowy conditions. :lookout:

Dont buy this stuff, put your money elsewhere.

I only drive a mile or two to work and then its about 45min-1hour to the trails so no too much on road time. But I'll take your advice.....still looking for tires anyway
