Oh yeah man those ________ are super! I would ___________ those in a heartbeat and put them on my _________!!

Fill in the blanks dude!!!

those are 265/70/16's those are stock sized wheels that come from the factory. why not bump it up to a 265/75/16 tire for a more agressive look, or even go with a 33' tire? i vote nittos also i am currently running a set and love em so far

Note the P designation

Those are not LT rated tires but P-passenger series. Hence the price is going to be a bit less. The sidewall construction is not as strong.

Not saying they would not be perfectly fine for your use, just wanted to be sure you are comparing apples to apples....

And yet in the description they list them as truck/suv....this is why its such a crap shoot buying things online these days. These guys totally take advantage....good thing this forum is here!

Hey Opi, I love my NTG's. 30k and the only signs of wear have been in the past 2 months since my alignment is out of whack (fixing that this weekend, FINALLY. Can't be all screwy for RC in March). Great in snow and rain. A little loud at higher speeds (over 75) but aren't deafening by any means. I think I picked up a set of 285's for $630 shipped from Tire Rack.

wow and wow haha i think i will go with these then. perhaps in 265 75 trim :cowboy:

Good choice, I'm sure some other Nitto owners will chime in eventually if they come across this. Wish I had gotten them in 265/75 flavor, since they sapped a bit of power, but I cannot lie, I do love my 33's haha.

Thats where I'm at now, I have 285s and I love them but I think my next tires are going to be 265 75.

amazin how 2 of us Colorado Ron's chimed in within a minute with same exact train of thought. I knew I liked that guy!

Nittos are perfectly fine rubber. I ran the 265/75/16 size and liked 'em

I've got a buddy that has them on his 04 dodge 4x4, they are really wearing quickly. He bought his the same time I bought my geolander ats's and we have about the same mileage on them but his are wearing much quicker. Both of us work in the same department, from home even but we get together for lunch and talk trucks....he's not very happy with the wear he's getting out of them and won't be buying them again.

Just my two cents....

This may be true, but remember that a '04 Ram weighs over 2,000lbs more than a 3rd gen 4Runner. That is definitely gonna effect how quickly the tires wear..

I bought the 265/75 R16's Terra Grapplers for $642 shipped from these guys. It's the best price I could find. These are sweet tires. My brother actually put the same ones I bought on his 05 Tacoma and he has nothing but good things to say about them. I also bought the ones that had the extra load capacity. Not sure what the part number was but Nitto's site has the model numbers.
