Should I service My 2nd gen 4runner manual tranny?

I have just recently bought my 2nd gen 1994 4 runner, and I want to have my tranmission serviced. It is a manual tranmission and 4wd. The truck has 120k on it and I am not sure if I should just have it flushed or changed filter and all. Someone told me that if the tranny has never been serviced and if it has over 100k that you should leave it be, minus keeping the fluid level at the proper height. please advise as to what I should do. The over 100k "rule" only applies to automatic transmissions. With a manual, you can't really flush it, and there is no filter to change. Simply drain the old gear oil out, and fill it with new lube. It certainly will not hurt the trans, and is definitely a great thing to do if you don't know the service history behind your truck. I'd change the center, front and rear differential fluids while you're under there.
