Hi Everyone,
So my 2012 is approaching 100k. She's been with me through a lot and has given me zero issues. My plan was to have it at least 10 years, but at this point it's almost paid off and I wonder if I should trade it for a new one while it's still worth a lot.
I've done a fair amount of modifications but not a ton. There were things about the 12 I specifically wanted, like the shifter for 4WD, more room in the engine bay for my air compressor, not so many computer controlled attachments (head unit for example).
Being that, unfortunately, I'm not sure how much longer these wonderful vehicles are going to be around, I wonder if it would be wise to look into getting a new one so I'm insulated from the crossover world for anther 10 years. I also wonder how much I'll be giving up letting my current one go. I'm a bit attached.
