Should I trade my Platinum Tundra for a '16 LE 4runner?

It's a pretty personal decision as you really can't go wrong with either. I think if you traded in one, you would miss the other. I would break things down from a financial perspective, and you will probably find that you're going to lose an easy $15,000 from switching between two new vehicles. I'm sure you can afford it, but it still doesn't make financial sense. You sound like you are on the fence, in which case I would stick with the Tundra until you are absolutely convinced you want the 4R as they are both great choices.

I can and have done plenty thanks. Inevitably, it never fails that at least one ******* always posts a stupid, unintelligent, and useless comment which is not only presumptive but judgemental. Ultimately, I will make this decision on my own but wanted to reach out to experienced members who could shed light on their own personal experiences and provide opinions which may give insight to aid in my potential purchase. I assume by your comment that you have no friends because if you did, I am confident that at some point you and your friends would have sat around, enjoying a cold beer while shooting the proverbial shit. While doing so, you share ideas, opinions, and advice which everyone benefits from. Ironically, I am utilizing this forum for the same reason. I have both and prefer the 4 Runner overall. If I had to get rid of one vehicle it would surely be the Tundra.

I'm doing the same thing. I have a 2014 TRD crewmax tundra and I'm trading it for a new TEP I just ordered. Even trade. Any my wife drives a 2012 TE. I'm just getting a good deal and like change. Will miss the ponies under the hood though.

Now that you've had the runner for awhile how do you feel about the trade?

Well like I said my wife has a 2012 TE so I knew what I was getting into. Around town the 4Runner zips in and out of parking nicely. I miss the pick up aspect of hauling crap and leaving it in the back. For now being in the city more and toting real estate clients around the 4Runner works fine. I'll probably get a new tundra when the new style comes out if it's awesome.

Just thought I'd ask as I've been toying with the idea of trading my LE for a platinum Tundra. I miss having a truck sometimes.
