Should the JBL amp have power when 4r is off?

04 4R w/jbl The bottom three ports on the main connector going into the amp are supplying 12vdc when the engine is off. Is this normal?

Also during normal operation how hot does the amp get?

Looks like the stock HU & amp was causing my parasitic battery drain according to the dealer. Good excuse to start over.
