Upgraded to the LED OEM Style Depo lights. Dont mind the primer square that I forgot to tape all the way off...when spraying my license plate bezel. :Cry:
Clay bar will take it right out.
I just noticed, is my truck leaning? or is my camera tilted? Edit: just went and checked.. confirmed ground is not level.

Will get better pics tomorrow, but I just finished putting 12" LED strips in from oznium. Tied into taillight power, have to look for them in the day when not on. Couldn't be happier, the picture simply does not do this mod justice.
Anymore info on this?

This was a long time ago, even before I moved to Uganda. Truck is long gone, but I'll try to help.
Quite possibly the easiest mod I did. Oznium has LED strips that are "side emitting". I bought two strips, can't remember the lengths. Remove the tail lights, stick them on the sides, and tap into the tail light power.
Took less than an hour to do both sides, and when the light housing is back on, you can't see the strips.

I've had these on my own truck for over 6 years now and it's my favorite. It's an 01-02 style factory tail but with 17 leds (there's even a led on the side that acts as running light. Also have them in stock:

6 years is pretty good and that price is even better. have you had any of the LEDs burn out?
anyone else here have extended time with these lights? any problems with the LEDs or leaking? i get snow, hail, sleet, heavy rain, etc. every year and some of the vehicles ive owned (as new as 2010) have had problems with leaking tail lights.
