I drove all the way from Texas to Maryland with the larger lab pictured in previous post in the back seat of a BMW M3.

Third row seat folded down. Chains with two carabiners each to chain dogs down. State law in some places. Dogs must have seat belts or be chained down in case of accident.

Pretty dogs! Wish more states would require people to restrain their dogs properly within their vehicle. People don't realize an unrestrained dog could kill those in the car if an accident occurred. Especially these larger breeds.

Hopefully you chain yours to something other than their prong collars. That would be painful even if they're getting jerked around a bit more than normal.

I tried to get a picture of the sunset over the mountains and the dogs with their heads out of the window while I was on a drive tonight. They didn't turn out great but I thought I'd post them anyways. The second picture is of one of my dogs getting impatient and deciding to jump out of the window instead of pose for a picture

Lost my boy a month ago, at 10 1/2 years, he was my first dog, and the best dog I've ever known. He had about 2 years straight of health problems, and they finally wore him down. He was great dog.

A few weeks after he passed, I adopted a new boy because my female was lonely and not used to being home alone all day. Here's my family now.
