yeah we had a BRT. great dog, passed away in dec. she was about 120 lbs, big dog 11.5 yrs though. now we have a cocka-poo.akoda said:

rsp685, she is growing well for her age! We just made our second visit to the vet since picking her up after Christmas. On her first visit, she weighed 16 pounds and a month later, on 1/26/06, she weighed 22.5 pounds. Even when we first visited her at 2 weeks old, she was bigger than all but one male in her litter. We feed her a cup of Royal Canin dry food mixed w/warm water twice a day and she excercises by playing a lot throughout the day. I think her size has more to do with her genetics... her mom is over 50 pounds and her dad is 75 pounds! Here's a shot of her dad, "Goliath," to give you an idea. And the surprising thing is he's not out of shape and fat, just very large for an English Bulldog!

rsp685, nice bullie! I don't see brindles too often around here, but Deuce looks really cool. He has that big puppy belly that Reily had when we got her. Guess they all look like that when they're little. Definitely post some more recent pics, and get one of him in the 4Runner. I know I have been procrastinating taking a picture of Reily in mine.
As for the original intent of this thread, I agree that we should be posting pics of our dogs in our 4Runners. That said, I really couldn't resist posting pics of the puppy, even before putting her in the new ride. As soon as the weather is sunnier and I can finish that full detail that got interrupted last week, I'll be taking LOTS of 4Runner pics and the shot of the dog in the back is first on my list!

Welcome to the forum Atomic,
In my biassed, no other SUV can beat the rear window on the 4runner, it lends it self perfectly for those who have dogs.
I am glad to see more Marylanders in the forum. Please check this thread out.

Thanks for the compliment. He is such a good companion. Fortunately he is a small lab only 75lbs and we live near the ocean. Penty of deep water to jump into! How is your dogs recovery going? Has (s)he been back into the truck? Any problems loading up?

I have a 4 year old Lab as well. He just had a TPLO surgery on his right leg, he had 90% of his crucial ligament torn. I can credit this to his hyperactive puppyhood. and Agressive landings onto shallow ponds.

Had to post my girl. 7yr old english chocolate lab. She loves 4runners! This is her 2nd 4runner!
Harley is on the left and my parents black lab that I got them from SnowCrest Kennels in Senaca Falls NY.
Sorry about no 4runner pic. The two of them together just destroy the 4runner!

My Mastiff is an English Mastiff. She probably isn't the best example of the breed. She was cheapest puppy in her litter due to her non-standard appearance. I picked her because she was the most active in the litter. Her name is Amelie and she is 15 months old. I have no idea how much she weighs but my Boxers are huge and weigh 90lbs each.

He is recovering slowly, it will take about 12 weeks before he can go outside with out the leash. Lots of rehabilitation has to take place before all is well.
I live in a townhome and there are lots of steps. i keep him in the Kitchen area and placed gates on the steps going up/down. He is eating well and in good spirits (must be the pain Meds
)
BTW his name is Memphis.

i see lots of bulldogs, but no dalmations. i have # 22 of 101 dalmations. her name is
gingin . and that black thing beside her is not her shadow. well, it is her shadow because they are always together, but not the one cast by the sun, it's our other dog, meiko, a black lab.
obtw, all of my dogs and any future ones are rescued from the pound. screw the stupid papers declaring purebred this and purebred that. i've seen the conditions they are bred and MOST of them are horrible. i don't need a stupid peice of paper to tell me what my dog is.
