My new furry friend, her name is Friday because everybody loves Fridays.

So this is Lala(aka lollipop) She is 5 years old and is a mix of a staffordshire terrier. She is the best dog in the world and is the best dog i have ever owned.

Im having an issue and was wondering if anybody else has had similar issues.
Every time we go to the lake and she swims in the lake, she gets a rash all over her body by the next day. Before anyone mentions food allergy or anything similar, that has already been ruled out and we know for sure its specifically from her swimming in the lake.

Does anyone else have this issue , and if so what have you done to remedy it.

We rinse her immediately and bathe her and use a little olive or coconut oil to soothe and moisten her skin.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing, but washing her off right away and then applying coconut oil. Her skin is just probably sensitive to the bacteria in the lake. Wouldn't hurt to even have that water tested if you take her there often.

Dogs can get 'swimmers itch', but it doesn't really sound like this is what she's experiencing.

ya i think we will start bringing fresh water to rinse her off.. we do use coconut oil after her bath.
