She's a ******* Spaniel who just turned 7 but still acts like a hyper puppy especially in the first few minutes she's in the car plus she will jump out if the window is low enough. She did that to me in the line at Taco Bell.

My friend's Brittany is the same way. Super hyper but one helluva grouse and pheasent hunter.
I'm looking for a dog, I can't wait to get a new buddy!

Here's Katie, my 9 year old black lab that still acts like she is 9 months old. Her mom was the 1995 and 1996 U.S. Duck Hunting Champion, so she has a lot of retriever in her-- and she is literally a walking garbage disposal

My choc. lab Maka has logged more miles in my 4runner than anyone other than me and has never put a paw on the window let alone jump out. My g/f's uncle's dog jumped out when traveling on the highway and unfortunately didn't survive. So as an impulse I bought a dog barrier for Maka. He rode in the cargo area one time and neither him nor I liked it. So he's out of the cargo area and in the back seat.

I always have the back window down some to give her some air, and the spoiler up top keeps the fumes from getting in. The only thing I'm concerned about is all the slobber she puts on the window.

Yeah She is the boss, i'll let her in on the passenger side and by the time I get to the driver side shes already taken my seat and will not move, and she loves the seat warmers too, haha she's like a person, you wouldnt believe it. And yes she does her job treein lil varments and deer and UPS trucks and any deisel that comes around! Even if its at 3 in the morning> haha

aw, you guys all have great lookin pups! Thanks for responding to my thread. I love my passenger! She is such a kick. It's true though, she rides shot gun, drivers seat.. back seat... hell she'd sit on the roof if she could get up there!
