Shrock works bumper question

Anyone ever come across someone that has put a 4th gen bumper on a 3rd gen, more specifically a shrock works bumper? One popped up for sale but I was just wondering how bad it will be trying to make it work

You might post this in the gen 3 section as some of those guy might have research on this. I would be interested also, incase I decided to make a dedicated off roader.

I've never heard of anyone doing it. I think the mounting points are different and the bumper itself is wider. I could be wrong, but you'd probably have to do a good amount of modification. [MENTION=25058]ChildrenOfBodom[/MENTION] can move the thread for ya

You'd probably be better off starting from scratch. These are two totally different trucks, and the 3rd gen front end is significantly smaller than the 4th gen. Mounting is different entirely as well.

The mounting points would not work. Not to mention the bumper itself is probably larger. I don't think it's worth your time unless you have the knowledge and tools to cut it up to work.
