Shrockworks 5th Gen 4Runner Front Bumper

I'm down for one. I've already popped 2 deer at low speed outside of Austin. I'll drive down to Houston to pick one up...

I stopped by the SW and they have clearly heard suggestions. They have bumper 2.0 on now and are fine tuning the design. It's going to be strong, light, functional and pleasing to look at.

I can't wait to see what they come up with for the rear!
 
come onnnn lets see some updated pics on this baby.. Any idea on release date or pricing..

They actually fabricated a second bumper, they are trying to address feedback from various forum members - like reusing factory fogs. The designer was taking measurement for the skirts under the lights and working on the grillgaurd. It takes a bit more time/effort to develop a production bumper than to build a one-off custom. They say maybe done by end of month.
 
I want to wait til the trim is done for any more pics. There isnt much of anything new to look at without that part. We are working on it right now.
 
Oh Man, I'm new but have a hole burning in my pocket for one of these. Also reminds me a bit of the TJM I had on my '97. I loved that truck. Anyway, let's go Shrockworks. Do this!

you guys have some great ideas for that bumper, looks really good! I am really looking forward to seeing how that trim is going to come out. I wonder if you guys can do a triple hoop design on that thing?! temping tempting.... Dang man I just got out of "aftermarket rehab"....
 
Now something needs to be done about the POS stock rear bumper and all of that plastic. I've already backed into a couple of immovable objects twice. I'd love to just replace it with something made out of steel that wraps underneath the taillights...hint hint.

Oh man...

I never thought about getting a bumper upgrade... until I saw this Shrockworks prototype. I can't help but think how awesome it would be to upgrade my SR5 with a suspension lift, shrockworks sliders, this bumper, and some better off road tires! Too bad I'm broke until 2012 while my wife finishes graduate school... *sigh*

Oh yeah. I almost forgot to add URD Supercharger once Gadget finally takes the wraps off it at the FJ Summit in Colorado later this month. Looking forward to that someday too I hope.
 
The bumper itself is done, the washer res. skid is 95% done and the trim is done....finally. We should have a pic of the final bumper in bare steel with the trim installed by this weekend. After that we'll get it powder coated and have a pretty one about a week later.

We will have also have pricing and start taking orders in a week as well. We are going to do an intro special. 10% off and guaranteed ship date of 3 months at the latest or you get another 10% off. The special will run for one week only, so this is your 2 weeks notice.

Hopefully you guys are just taking a 10% deposit, preferably refundable given the 3 month lead time?

Also, I'd like to hear from the forum on opinions as to whether having upgraded suspension will be "mandatory" for install of a front bumper such as this. Obviously the thing will weigh about a 100 pounds but I have no immediate plans to lift, so I'm wondering if anyone else runs a large bumper on stock suspension? Thoughts?

I was wondering if the special will be on front bumper only or if you will be including the other wonderful Shrockworks products in the special.

In particular I am interested in sliders for sure and possibly the front bumper.

Yeah I echo that point. 15-20% off a package deal of front bumper and sliders purchased together would be so sweet.
