olice:I spoke to the guys at shrockworks yesterday, they've told me mid october will be the shipdate. awesome. i can sit there on the couch and watch it get delivered and not touch it (i get surgery on my foot in 3 weeks, and will have at least 30 days of not being allowed to put any weight on the foot afterwards)

I didn't see it mentioned, but what it the weight of the bumper? Reason I ask is because the 4.0L is pretty slugish as is. Most folks have all 3 combo's together (Front Bumper, Rear Bumper w/tire carrier and Rocker Bars) + a winch still needs to be added. That's about 500lbs give or take 150lbs.
Any plans to build a lighter (aluminum version perhaps)?

I emailed them last week and he said they were going to the powder coaters within a few days.
To piggyback that question, who in the Mid-Atlantic region has installed one on their TE? I can help subsidize the cost of this new bumper in exchange for your old TE bits.
If you lived in CO you could come pick up my front bumper once i get the shrockworks installed. I'll definitely be putting it up for sale in the classifieds section once all is done.

I live in DC. Just ordered mine last week, so I am a couple of months away from receiving the new bumper. I haven;t decided yet if I am selling the OEM parts or just hanging onto them. If I sell I'll let you know.
