What about the possibility of a bumper with a removal swing out, but - no spare tire on it. Instead with gas/water can and handyman jack mounts. I want to keep spare underneath, but am looking for an easier way to carry xtra fuel and water without lifting it over my head onto the rack. I'm getting old enough that falling hurts now, lol.

Neither one of these items will be a standard option available for this bumper, but we are always open to discussing custom orders.

Are there any design changes required for 14+ models?

There shouldn't be any changes needed with the way our bumper is designed, but we have one going on a 2014 trail right after this one, and another 2014 Limited most likely as well. We should have a solid confirmation that all bases are covered at that point.

I looked at rerouting the OEM camera at one point, and this is what I came up with.

-It is a total nightmare getting it out of the hatch.....really.
-Once its out, there really isnt a clean way to remount it, nor is back side or connectors of it designed to be exposed to the elements.
-You end up with a decent sized hole in your hatch

Best solution would be to find an aftermarket camera and mount it somewhere on the swing out like on the LP mount or something.

A little more interested now that I see the prototype. I still would like to see someone make an absolute no cut rear bumper, but this looks nice, and I like that you guys are close enough for me to go pick up or possibly have install. I would like to see the space to the left of the tire to be changeable/adaptable I would mainly want my license plate to be in that area, but the ability to bolt on a rotopax or jerry can mount.

Hey all... I really need to give Justin some major kudos on this work. The rig came out awesome! As for the rear camera - I'm in the same camp as most others here. I'm off to talk with some folks next week to figure out how we're going to get the rear camera re-worked. I'll be sure to post any findings here. In the mean time, enjoy these shots! As for the Gobi ladder... PERFECT! Even when carrying the Hi-Lift and Jerry cans, nothing was rubbing against each other... PERFECT spacing. (Oh... and just as a reminder... the receiver is removable and is NOT attached in these pics.)

That looks amazing. How does the receiver attach? Almost like a L-shape that goes up behind the bumper?

Can you please grab a quick pic of the transition from the metal bumper, to the plastic of the rear cargo area? i.e. the same shot as your last posted picture, but up close of the top of the bumper.

VERY nice work Justin! Any though on the ability to add a fold down table on the backside of the swing arm? What is the thought behind the rubber bump-stop? does the swingarm have some play that needs to be managed?

That turned out excellent. If it had been finished and available a few weeks ago I probably would have gone this route over CBI just so the powder coat and style would match the front bumper I have ordered. Looks really nice.

Like the look of this one the best to date, particularly the angles of the bottom corners make the back end look a lot less boxy. Nice work, I'm in for one (and a front) after I pay this thing off.
