Shrockworks front bumper gap and headlight trim

Hi all, I traded in for my 2012 5th gen sr5 years ago at a dealership. It already had the shrockworks bumper installed. At the time I didn't know what to look for. There is a considerable gap between the fender and the bumper. Also, both headlight trim pieces flew off the vehicle around the same time last year (along with all of the hardware), and I have no idea what hardware is required to reinstall. I took the truck to a local shop and was just lectured about how they hate these types of bumpers and that they think it might be the wrong bumper for the year. It feels like I'm going to have a hard time finding someone willing to look at this. I live in a studio and park on the street. Santa Barbara doesn't have a great network of 4x4 shops and shrockworks won't respond. Does anyone have any ideas for what to look for or if I'm just an idiot who made a bad purchase? FWIW, I love driving this thing and the bumper feels solid off road.

I have a Shrockworks bumper on mine. There's supposed to be spacing between the bumper wings and the fender, as it all moves with body flex and will hit it if the bumper is mounted too high.

You could possibly get a stock plastic bumper cover, and have them trim it all out since you've lost the steel under-headlight pieces.

definitely the right bumper for the model year. call shrockworks about getting replacement pieces--looks like you can bolt them right back on to the headlights/other attachment points with some larger washers.

I was most worried about the size of the gap, but I guess I shouldn't be too worried. So many pics of rigs with close fits.

I luckily still have the pieces, just can't get an answer from shrockworks on recommended hardware. It looks like there were maybe U-Nuts/Clips on the trim piece?

keep trying to get them on the phone--they quickly got me new hardware when i needed it as soon as i got someone on the line. email was not productive
