Got my sliders in yesterday, and just finished installing them.

They look great! I did however drop one of the stick nuts into the frame on the drivers side.... Literally spent more time fishing it out than the rest of the install. 1/10 wouldn't recommend.

I also had the same problem with the stick nuts, and the gas tank strap, but got it installed.

picked sliders up yesterday and installed, mostly easy install and really good fit. Am i the only one who had trouble getting the gas tank support bolt back in? I had to drop the skid and tank then re jack tank up.

Nope, I had this problem too, just took a little budging around and it finally went in. My other problems was with the stick nuts

Pics of it installed on the car. Question, how important is the passenger front bottom bracket where you have to drill a 3/8 inch bit? I didnt do it and left it alone for now. I also had a lot of hardware leftover, ie. 3 sticknut, 2 zipties, 5 m8 bolts, and 4 3/8 x 1 bolts leftover. The rails are pretty on solid. Im assuming shrockworks gives extra bolts?

I also had the same problem with the stick nuts, and the gas tank strap, but got it installed.

Yea a bunch of people have mentioned how much a pain the gas tank strap is but honestly it really wasn't that bad.

I tried to pin it the frame kind of like someone else had mentioned but the skid was in the way so I just let it fall. Then when I went back to install I used a screwdriver as a lever to pull it back even with the hole/slider frame. Stuck the bolt up through, then used the screw driver again to lever it up enough to start the threads on the bolt and torqued it up no problem.

Another tip is stick a socket/something to keep the skid down and out of the way when removing the strap/installing slider frame.

I was also concerned about losing the tank strap under the skid plate. A piece of paracord saved the day. Not reading the directions before hand, the tank was filled about 3/4. I mocked up the slider with the bottom bolts and threaded a piece of paracord through the gas tank strap mounting hardware. Tightened the paracord around the slider to line up mounting holes...painless. Overall, the install was pretty smooth.

Just got my tracking number late yesterday. Should see the sliders Thursday!!

Picked up sliders on Friday and installed them on Saturday. :reddance: That driver's side is a real PITA to put on, though.

Slider design, construction, look: 10/10, would buy again.
Installation: 3/10, would not want to attempt again.

Note: I do not have LED lighting in the wheel wells, lol. That's a flashlight on the ground.

I asked this in another thread, but never got an answer. I was having a hell of a time pulling the hard lines away from the rear mount on the drivers side. At this point I am just using one of the zip ties as a spacer between the hardline and the slider mount. Am I just not putting enough force into pulling the hardline away, or am I missing something?

Just did mine. Slip it under the lines first then.pull away hard. I didn't think it took to much force, but I was also getting impatient too.
