Hi, my bumper is being mailed this week and i have a few questions:
Note black powder coat bumper w center hoop and headlight guards, 510 PIAAs and directional lights in the bumper, 580 PIAAs on top, 2 clevis shackles, no winch, no fairlead, front plate required here in nj, and i do have a front bug deflector (if that matters)
1. Can i still use the bug deflector with it if i got the center hoop and headlight guards
2. got it with the PIAA 510 Fogs inside the bumper, pros and cons of wiring them using the factory fog light toggle vs the included switches mounted to dash (Like not being able to run fogs w high beams, etc)?
3. how bad is the added weight up front as it concerns driving, breaking, cornering, driving over bumps or hills or driving fast?
4. I have no lift kit (yet), factory suspension, and 265/65R17 110S tires that i upgraded to BFG AT 265/70R17 112R and do get some tire rub either when breaking while turning from regular road driving speeds to fully turned at low speeds on pavement, is the new bumper going to make that worse?
5. since the new bumper includes a skid plate, will i lose the factory skid plate or do they work together?
6. any changes in mpg?
7. any added wind noise or other noises or vibrations for that matter?
Sorry bout all the questions but a lot of you guys have a ton of knowledge and i have very little as trucks are concerned and different from home in Vegas, there are no cool 4x4 shops out here to hang out in and get smarter
