Alright, I'm really digging the trim pieces. Where did you get them?

Or are you just really good at vinyl wrap?

I just love the gloss. A set of the trim pieces in gloss black would be pretty awesome.

the trim pieces are oem and over wrapped in real carbon fiber. oine off done by my work. nothing remotely close to vinyl wrap.

Did the tundra 231mm brake upgrade but not happy with the outcome brakes are great but my wheels didn't clear the calipers ended up destroying a caliper in the process and having to buy a new one and 7mm spacers from pep boys. More info and pics tonite

so i ended up ordering spacers for my wheels from WheelAdapter.com is your number one source for wheel adapters, wheel spacers, used wheels, and wheel studs.

5mm and extended studs should be here tomorrow. im amazed by the turn around time.

COB you should check out Rust Oleum bumper and trim paint for black. It cures as a semi-gloss black and really looks fantastic. Im amazed at how strong and scratch resistant it is. Much more so than most spray paints Ive used. I really like the way it looks

Budbuilt skid came Friday and go it on this weekend it is a beefy skid. i had them make a oil drain door like they do on the new FJ and 4runner skid.

WHY did I not get his done!?!?!? I HATE changing my oil with the regular Budbuilt.

hey rick i spent an extra 100 bucks to do this. but to me it was worth it. especially with how heavy the skid is i had to use a jack to install it with out hurting my back. i'll thank myself after the first oil change.

how is you ls460 retro coming along? i'm getting my projectors soon. and cant wait to start mine.

a few new toys... this will be the most epic headlight build to end all builds.

i am having a set of Japan Spec Headlights coming in from a friend in japan soon as well. we will see if i have time to build this set or if i'm going to just send them to a good friend of mine to build. I recently found out my wife is pregnant a few weeks ago so my time is very limited for these projects now. this is how the lights look.

Good luck on the project and take lots of photos. I want to see how your going to squeeze them in there! Let's get some more details on the project, for us lighting nerds???

I'm seeing Morimoto xB angel eyes behind the shroud (just like mine!!), factory LS460 solenoid is gone so your either single zenon or doing a custom solenoid? Osram bulbs....EPIC.

i most likely will not tackle this on myself with a baby on the way. these are still bi xenon. Matt and Andrew at TRS had these modded for me so they can mount to the headlight just like a FX projector. high beam mod and solenoid conversion done. i am more leaning towards having my friend Cesar do the work. i really do not want to screw up a set of $700 japan spec headlights. i used white xb 's instead of amber like you went with. the Osrams i went with are the SVS 66240

I am really looking forward to how these turn out. I am sure you and/or your friend will do a great job. However, I had a question. Why did you decide to spend $700 on Japanese spec headlights? Apologies in advance if this is a lame question but what is so good about them either then looking really new and shiny?
