as far as the pulley my throttle response is much quicker and snappier than before. the headers we installed by a shop that did my timing belt job as well. it took them 7 hours to install since the motor require to be rased about an inche to clear the Y pipe removal and new y pipe install.

i would have never atempted the job myself.

No more Toyos they were horrible. I'm gladly back to BFG's

First 20 miles and here are some driving impressions. This is a very nice tire! E load really doesn't feel like an e load. Tire compound is softer than previous KO's. Smooth ride and feel actually lighter than previous Toyos in a c load and KO's in a D load! Overall I am pleased with the switch back to BFG's these KO2's seem very promising.

Nice truck!

I LOVE the looks of the new KO2's. I just wish you could get them a little lighter than an E load for our 3rd gens. If they came in a C like the duratracs I would already know what my next tire is.

I was about this as well but from my 20 mile drive home from work as stated in my description the do not ride like an e load what so ever. The tire shop across from my work that mounted them even told me the just mounted a set on a jeep and they actually notice an increase in mpg because of way less rolling. Resistance and the tire compound is of much better quality. If you can get over the Elias rating fact like I did it is a great choice!

They ride really well, no noise for me. Because my truck is empty, they can hit some bumps like a real E tire, but with more load and gear I am sure it takes it perfectly. My truck literally has nothing in it lol

I was actually more worried about the extra weight accompanying them affecting my MPGs and acceleration too much, but I guess it may not be as bad as I thought it would be. When I'm in the market for new tires hopefully there will be a few longer term reviews on the tires. I've still got a fair bit of life left in my BFG Rugged Terrains which I've been happy with. I just wish they were a bit bigger...

i did sell my previous icons. these i have had for about a year. i am looking to get out of them and possibly into some Kings or ADS

Don't do this to my wallet...

Let me know if you sell. I wouldn't mind an upgrade.

ALSO. I need to go take a cold bath after the latest pictures... Got me sweatin'.

Sweet build SIKHILUXSURF! Can't say your build did not inspire me to collect some of the Hilux Surf JDM goodies! Just sourced a spare dash bezel, to see if I finally get around to doing the triple din dash. It's been sitting for a while at my place and it needs to make its way to my build. JDM stuff is expensive! Guess it's all part of the hobby. Looking great as always!
