Looking good. It's a shame Jaos discontinued quite a bit of this stuff. I can still get some, but it's sad that there isn't much left.

the only jaos stuff that is really gone is the wheels. i sold them to a friend about 10 months ago. the jaos spoiler i took off and sold. the Spoiler currently on there is the OEM Factory spoiler. you can always come see it at the JCCS 80s-90s show in October. hopefully i have my new suspension on by then too!

a update in lighting. after having something hit my foglights hard on the bumper i decided it was time for a change in lighting. i went with Piaa 530 led 3.5" fogs and Piaa 004XT 2.5" foglight housings to turn them into turn signals since my hella bu mper signals turn into fish bowls and retail water. here are some pictures.

Just a bit of rake not much but I think it should settle nicely in a few weeks. 700 lbs springs in front. Firm but I like it. If I get sick of it I can always swap out to 650 lb springs. As far as the rears they seem fine.

When do we get the comparison (performance wise) of King vs Icon?

i havent gotten good chance to get them off road and compair however on road manners have been very pleasing. the 700lb springs might be much for most but i may swap out in the future to 650 lb springs so soften it up a bit.

Yeah, I left your 650s on my coilovers and the ride is WAY more comfortable. A tiny bit more body roll in the corners (front sway bar is still off) but really I barely notice it.

Kings are too colorful.... Really screwing up your aesthetics :fish:

Kidding of course.

So updates on the truck. Early feb I hit a Toyota Matrix that cut me off at about 50 mph which destroyed her quarter panel and left only scratches on mine. It also screwed up my new repairs to my front end of my truck.... Fast forward 3 weeks and the truck now is s/ced and then low and behold my 3rd member blows which I'm sure is most likely the rear diff gears chipped off since I count still move it with a loud bang every time the truck is in motion a foot or so. So this morning off it goes to the bodyshop for estimate and repairs.

This is the first time I have ever had this thing on a flatbed 230k strong!

If you had issues with cupping it is likely from a worn component in your front end. Have you replaced your rack guide with the newer style? If not I would start there. I am sure you don't want your new tires to do the same thing.

I have had everything in the front end gone through and replaced I have no issues with my current tires.

Hey sik, how much of a pain in the a$$ was it to make the 3 din console to make it work? I just got 1 and want to install it just because. Also what did you use to mold the pieces together? Looks like you used the LHD top half and RHD bottom. I just caught the JDM bug again and it's going to hurt my pocket.

By the way, you truly have a SIKHILUXSURF!
