Silicone spray for seals/trim

Did some searching and couldn't find anything conclusive. The window trim and rubber seals around the truck are looking kinda rough. I bought some napa silicone spray today and wiped them all down. They definitely look better and feel better to run your fingers over. I figured it was harmless but reading the label it said "potential damage to painted surfaces.." Anyone got any experience with either issue? Spray good for seals/trim etc, what about the paint?

I have used it over the years. But I determined that 1Z Gumiphledge last a lot longer and since it comes in a dispenser bottle is cleaner to use.

This is what I use to keep window/door seals from drying out and looking good.

cool thing is it has a little sponge applicator on it like some shoe polish bottles. you dont' need another rag and it helps keep product off your paint and glass if you area reasonably careful applying.

I agree, great stuff! But if you can't find that locally and need something in a pinch, I found 303 Aerospace protectant also does a pretty darn good job on rubber/vinyl. I think you can find that a west marine or the likes.

I still use honda's Shinzo grease. I think I spelled that wrong but you can get it at the local Honda grease.
