So I'm the new gal around here, although I've always loved lifted trucks and 4runners and I know so many guys around here with old Tacos still running strong. I picked up a like new but used 2015 Silver LE. I wanted all the interior goodies (leather, ventilated seats, etc) + 4wd- HOWEVER I've already begun throwing money at the silver queen

. All windows tinted w ceramic 20% all around including over the OEM rear windows, with 50% windshield. Swear the windshield tint makes as much of a difference as the side windows do!
LEDs installed in all the headlights and fogs. Toytec Leveling kit for XREAS is here, getting that installed within a couple weeks. Valentine one on the windshield, works fine through the tint thankfully, which I expected with ceramic tint. Weathertech visors, Weathertech mats to replace the OEM Yota rubber mats. And an Amazon offbrand tray on the back cargo slider that fits surprisingly well.
THEN it's time to decide on wheels and tires. Pretty much decided on the wheels, but with tires I can't decide whether to do 275/55/20 or 275/60/20 (with the Terra Grappler G2 there's a $200ish difference between the 55 and 60, which seems odd to me. For my uses, I'm sure the 275/55 is fine, but I wouldn't mind a little bit taller sidewall. What yall think? Wheels will be either 0 or +1 offset if I go with my #1 choice. Wouldn't mind wheels/tires sticking out the fenders just a bit, but also don't want to have to buy spacers if possible!
ANYWAY-- trying to decide whether to black out the chrome on the LE. At least on the front bumper. I could do some plastidip testing and just see if I like it. I really like the bumpers from the trails/SR5s. The angles and fog lights inset like that really look lean and mean. Luckily with silver, the chrome doesn't pop out as much as it would on a dark color, but still... I love doing stuff to this vehicle, where I never cared about customizing any other car I've owned :guitar3: Most of all can't wait to get wider tires so the thing feels more planted and LOOKS better, and I'm sure will ride better as well.
QUESTION, for any who might see this: With the Toytec 2.5" leveling kit will the 275/55/20 look 'right'/ not too small? I don't want to go too small on the tires once the front is lifted? **Should I go ahead and get 275/60s or maybe 285s (if they'd fit)? Not totally stuck on the Terra Grapplers, just like the tread pattern the most, the quality, etc. Not opposed to some Coopers and other ATs I've seen.
