Searched the threads and didn't see a silver TE with black pasti-dipped/powder-coated TE wheels. Considering going to the darkside so any pictures would be great!:vader:

I would also like to see this.. I have a Magnetic Grey TE and I am planning on powdercoating the stock TE rims matte black in the VERY near future.. if no one posts a pic in the next week or two I might have to. I have seen some pics on here of a black TE w/ black powdercoated TE rims that looked pretty sweet!

Heres a crappy one I took real fast with my iphone. Ill try and get some more tomorrow if you want. I love them.

Sorry to ask if you guys explained this in detail somewhere already, but, do you remove the tire form the rim to paint/plasti dip these? or just mask off the tire? and is it just a spray paint? how does it hold up? better then regular rattle can?

Thanks.

its better if you have the wheels off the tires(alot easier) but if you don't wanna dismount and rebalance, You can try index cards placed between the tire and wheels.

Apparently I don't have a camera anymore. Plasti dip, four coats approx. four cans. Here's another iphone pic in the sun this time.
