I recently purchased the Scion Pioneer Single CD on EBay.
I've read all the press releases talking about how Sirius will be offered on all Scions starting Feb. 2005. I called Pioneer to ask them if they knew if the current Scion deck would support Sirius and they said yes, but the Pioneer Sirius tuner would not work because the Scion HU needs a special plug from Toyota.
My question is:
Does anyone have any information on when the Sirius tuner will be available for the Scion HU? I had XM for three years and I really have started to prefer the programming on Sirius over XM.
I'm ready to get Sirius into my new '05 4Runner. It's my first 4Runner and I'm extremely impressed with the vehicle. My only complaint is the lack of factory installed satellite options.
