sirius to stock 06 radio

is is possible thru the head unit with a tuner?
or-
plug a plug and play unit (sportster, etc) into the mp3 input in the armrest?

I just installed my Sirius Starmate into my 06 4Runner using the Aux plug in the center arm rest. It works really well.

I hope this is a temporary set-up until we hear final confirmation as to which Sirius receiver and kit will work with my stock headunit (6 disc changer, no Nav and not JBL).

thanks for the reply. i bought the starmate replay and did the install. the only problem now is engine whine, i'll see if i can figure out the prob.

where did you place your starmate? i was going to put it in the cubby under the radio, but its a hair to small to lay on its back there....

nothing fancy...i just have it underneath the center armrest for now...i don't have a permanent mount yet.
