SiriusXM Best Sound ? AppleCarPlay or Nav?

I have SiriusXM in both my 2020 SR5P and iPhone11 Max.
There are many more channels available on AppleCarPlay and the display is much nicer than SXM that came with the truck.

How about the sound and data available? Which one has better sound quaility?

Guessing apple play is better quality, sirus does not have bandwidth.
If you want quality stream Tidal, better yet Amazon HD has better than CD sound

Although Sirius says they are HD, they are not. Locally, I listen to FM HD broadcast which is noticeably better than XM. On the road I do listen to XM only because you can't find good FM stations away from the major cities.

Definitely not SiriusXM. You can hear the compression in the highs.

After listening to SiriusXM for a few hours today through my iPhone 11 Pro Max and into Apple Car Play I can says it does sound a lot better than the SiriusXM that comes from the satellite thats built into the truck.

I listened to Van Halen "Unchained" at volume level "60" on Ozzy's Boneyard. Sounds pretty good.

I was also able to find a couple threads about this in other forums to confirm how much better CarPlay is.
