SiriusXM Special $5/mo "Negotiation" Not Required

My experience over years of playing renewal roulette with Sirius is that any new package starts immediately but they do credit for remaining time on a current paid plan. If you have a trial, then I believe it starts at the end of your trial.

My new plan started nearly immediate but they credited me the remainder of my bill and applied it to the new plan...

I gave up on it and don't miss it at all. Was tired on constantly calling them and being a country music fan I found the 3 or 4 stations unbearable. I'd rather pay for Spotify $10/month and listen to what I want. Or podcasts.

If auto manufacturers didn't charge you for it when you buy a new car I feel they'd be out of business by now.

You do know that SiriusXM pays the car manufacturers to put their crap into the cars - and then the manufacturer charges you again....

Oh, and they are very profitable.

Nope, didn't know that. I assumed there had to be some sort of deal, however. Maybe Howard brings in more money for them than I thought, hence his new contract.

Just renewed the Select package at $60/year. Actually ~$70 with tax and music fees.
