You'd be fine then. It's a nice little road. SO dry right now. I've never been up there when there aren't huge puddles in the road until last week.
 
Love your build man, nice work! The Toyos look sick. Questions:

1) Is your Front Runner Slimline II the standard (1255mm x 1560mm) rack on their site?
2) Are you happy with the Slimline II given you use a rooftop tent?
3) Where'd you order your American flag badge? My 'Murica senses are tingling..

Hey just saw this!

It is the standard rack. It's a 3/4 rack and it uses stock hardware which is nice.

Looking back I wish I got full length and drilled the two holes in my roof haha. May upgrade someday.

It holds my tent great! No flexing or anything. Just takes up the whole rack. That is where full length would come in handy.

The American Flags are from a TacomaWorld user named cboy808 he makes anything you want. I get all my stickers from him.

Good feedback - I'm not uber excited about drilling holes in the roof if I got the full rack but it is good to know the tent takes up the whole 3/4 rack. Thanks!!

Question about your performance mods? I see you did the aFe cold air - what URD MAF are you using? Is it one of the calibrators with the OEM MAF?

What do you think of the mod? Worth it for power, fuel mileage? Was there a bunch of tuning involved (if it was a calibrator)?

Honestly I think CAIs on Tacomas and 4Runners are useless and I would not do one if it didn't already have it. The previous owner installed it.

It sounds cool, yeah. But the performance enhancement is nothing. I've heard HP numbers from 10-20 but for a truck as heavy as these that doesn't make a difference. From personal experience and from stories heard, I wouldn't suggest a CAI. I'd go Supercharger for performance, snorkel for intake mods.

Relentless makes a pretty cool Roof Rack that is longer than the FrontRunner one I believe. Looks nice too. No Drilling.

I went on a trip to Rowher Flats a while back with a TacomaWorld meet.

Shit my pants because I got really close to rolling my girlfriend, her dogs, and I down a cliff.

Yeah! Where are you based? I'm in Santa Barbara for the Summer but I'll be around LA most of my life haha.
