Size of the front seats (leather and cloth).

I have test drove couple of 4-th generations 4Runners and one of them was 2004 Limited (4x4, V8) with leather:
Is it my imagination or in case of leather interior the bottom part of the front seat is shorter than in 4Runners with cloth seats?
Can any one share their experience in regards to that?

I can't answer to the difference between leather and cloth seats on the 4Runner. But I find in general Toyotas, my Carmy and 4Runner the seat bottom is shorter than my previous car. I'll check my Tacoma tomorrow morning--but the passenger seems ok there, maybe I drive my cars more often than being a passenger. My previous car the seat bottom is maybe an inch or two from the back of my knees. The 4Runner is much shorter, about 5" inches or so.

Try raising the front of the seat bottom, I noticed by doing that it made a huge difference in terms of support and comfort for me. The same can't be said if I'm in the passenger seat, can't get comfortable there.

I'm 6'1".

Checked my '05 Tacoma this morning. The seats are the same on the bottom length and gap from the edge to the back of my knees are the same. However, maybe because the bottom is deeper and the side bolsters are higher so they're a little more comfortable. I have the TRD package, so they're sport bucket seats.
