I am tyring to figure out the size of the speakers in the rear door. I want to buy a pair so I do not have to mod the door at all...I know I can fit a 6 3/4" component set up in the front doors...any help on this would be great. Thank you for your help.
my 99 has 4" in the rear. unless they changed them, you do not have 5 1/4 in there!
call the dealer or i believe cruthfield has a database to look under
i tried looking on crutchfield as well... but there is no reference for rear door for 99-02 4runners. I guess it is 4", but I could have sworn they were 5 1/4. If i get a chance tomorrow at work I'll pull my panel off and see.
Hopefully you are correct...I have been on crutchfield and thought thats where I would find my answer but no luck...they only list the front doors...I chatted with a rep from there and they said it was an odd size and his computer didnt even list it...how can that be...99-02 models unlisted because of a freakish speaker size in the rear doors? Interesting in any case...If someone has taken off the doors before and know what size thery are that would be great for further info...thanks again.
