Skid plate advice

I actually took mine off ( cleaned them) with all bolts to lightly pressure wash the transmission housing and clean the under carriage in general. Then put them back on (6 bolts total) ⚒⛓ quite an experience. Front tires driven up on solid cider block.

I wish the factory had put on an entire full range plate that covered the transmission as well. I will at some point, get the full version all the way underneath.
But they are kind of pricey.
Just a thought.
I would be scared of going over a creek and having a transmission catch a rock.
