Skid plate and slider compatibility - need pics

Hey all, I've been craving some sliders and skids for a while now. I think I've got it narrowed down to the Man-a-fre skids and the shrockwork sliders.

4RUNNER 4TH GENERATION (03-09) SKID PLATES 4+PLUS

and

4th Gen Toyota 4Runner Rock Sliders 2003-2009, Toyota Rock Sliders, ShrockWorks

The only thing I'm nervous about is if these will work together. They're both bolt-on, and I'm wondering if the cross brace for the skid will interfere with the U-mount of the slider.

Does anyone have any experience with this combination? Or good pics of the SW sliders and where those U-mounts end up sitting?

Thanks for the pics, jd... though it looks like you may be the bringer of bad news. Unless I'm mistaken, one of the U-mounts slides under the exact same brake line bracket as the skid plate cross brace.

I'm pretty set on bolt on sliders with those U-style mounts. Does anyone have any recommendations for bolt-on skid plats that would be compatible?

Let me take a photo for you later today of where my cross brace bolts to frame relative to the slider mount. I've got them both. Although the cross brace had some minor fitment issues, it was not due to the sliders. (That said, if you're doing both, I recommend mounting cross brace prior to installing sliders.)

I have the BudBuilt cross brace for reference. Location of cross brace mount may vary with manufacturer and depending upon where their skid plate ends.

I have the 4plus skids,good choice, I will take a pic later for you. The cross member goes directly undre the transfer case, not behind it, si if you look under the truck and find the t case you will know where the member bolts to the frame.

I did have to do some cutting, grinding to fit the cross member in there, I'm pretty sure they use the FJ peice for the runners, It wasnt too bad but I would have skipped the powdercoat at least on the crossmember if I had known I ws going to hack it up.

Im glad you thought of this, I'm looking at sliders and didn't even think about the crossmember getting in the way.

It looks like I may need to fork out a little more and get budbuilt skids instead. It looks like they actually have a crossmember specifically designed for folks with SW sliders. (But you have to specify it during ordering.)
