Never heard of them. Most of the guys I wheel with run BB's, that plate is the same thickness and cheaper- so you cant argue with that. BB's belly pan looks like its going to give you more coverage though.

And of course the only gas tank skid is from Lil' Skip's Offroad. Lil' Skip's Offroad

Any deals on skid plates? Got in an accident recently and it tore my factory skids right off - looking at Skid rows currently.

Looks like a good deal, was liking the black skids, wonder if Savage has them in black? I'm going to contact them, thanks for the tip

I didn't see anything about Black skids, but that's just a rattle can away. I also couldn't help myself, I ordered the Savage skid combo.

I purchase the Lotus Rear Control Arm skids through Amazon $94 shipped. Great product and as already mentioned very effective.

As far as the Savage Off-Road, I would endorse their skids. When compared to the others, honestly for our application there where no functional difference. What drew my decision was the design features, which fit well with our build.
The terrain we frequent is not exclusively rocky, yet there are times where we do find some along the way. We manage for years without the under armor yet now find the investment minimal in relation to what is being protected.

Savage is a good buy with the free shipping. I bought the budbuilt combo when they had free shipping. Reasons I bought the buds over savage... think they are tad bit more arodynamic and it covers my cat better ( rig is parked outside in phoenix). I like the savage though as it has more parts making it easier to remove for oil changes and the like. There is a member offering his own creating for $280 shipped for the front skids right now. I would say it is a good fime for skid plate deals. Nice picture 8sm.
