Skid Plates - Pics Please

Now listen! When a woman wants, you give!:moony:

Now....I'm going to be a bit more picky... Have any pics before your bumper was put on?

Terri, you just keep up the demanding and being picky at what you want around here. If they don't like it, just cut them off with the MODDED PORN PICTURES.

I bought the first design of plates from Josh, I didn't know the way he had to fix the 2 extra trans lines bolts was to cut them areas out for them. doesn't look as clean as this IMO.

Not the best picture, but, you get the idea.

Darn right! Thanks, love!

Thank you! Did you happen to put these on before or after your front bumper? Have any straight on pics?

They went on after the bumper, all my pics are at the same site I linked, I would guess there are some straight on.

Sorry if this is silly to ask. Is that your wench? Can you tell me more about it?

I'll post some pics of the winch, the wench will stay off the internet. LOL

It is the circa 2013 BudBuilt hidden winch mount. One of the originals before he changed the design.

Gawd! I ask for skid plates and you guys show me these hidden wenches. I so need one of those! Like right now!
Can you tell me how hard they are to put on? I'll have to get help, but in realms of hours.

The older unit was easier to install than the newer one. Figure 3-5hrs. Plus you need a wench. Oh and beer to make it easier.

Thank you, that front piece is what I'm looking at most. Is it called something different or is it just a separate piece of a skid plate?

The front piece on mine is I believe a stock Toyota aluminum peice that I painted black.

i installed a hidden hitch and i dont think its much hard if any harder then what i did. i did it without help so a winch should not be that hard.

Not with the skidplates, I had the bumper before the skidplates (just put them on less than a month ago.)

The bumper was actually the first mod to the truck so basically I would just refer you to a stock 4Runner at that point.

Also, woman or not; I don't take orders. :P

How was the bumper without any suspension modifications? Did your front end drop a lot and sag? I've got a daystar Lvl kit but I'm curious as to how much sagging this would cause

Sorry I can't make them to sell, I wish I could a lot of people like it.

This is the bumper I made this year to match.

The holes are laser cut and I machined a dimple die to dimple the holes. The most I've dimpled with it is 3/16, or 1/4 aluminum.

Chris, how hard or what not is it to remove the front skid to change the oil and filter?

The oil filter is easily accessible and there's access to the oil plug. Removing the skids would be a b*tch though. I had a shop do my oil change and they had oil splatter inside the skids so next time I'll do it and see if it was their work or what happens to anyone.

I'm thinking of adding one of those hose-type attachments to drain if it's a mess w/o adding something.
