Skid Plates!

Okay guys, with WD-40, a socket wrench and muscle, I got the bolts and nuts and running boards off...Next I have 3 question...
1. Is all the metal "junk" under the driver side skid plates?
2. Do they actually protect off road?
3. Does a lift move them up too or are they the same spot always?

2. yes, but theyre sort of like tinfoil.. upgrading to something like budbuilts will become necessary as you bash them into things and they crumple

IS that a suspension lift, or a body lift that moves em up too?

suspension.. body lift it will sorta be at same level.

i suggest 2.5 inchs of sus and 1 inch or 2 inch body.

body lift raises the body off the frame, so it only raises the body, nothing below it.

quick random question, say i do a 2.5-3 inch lift do i need new tires or will 32" BFGs on stock wheels look ok?
