If it's the faux one you want this is mine fitted with a Tacoma plate with 3" brackets to extend it and hug the front bumper.

It's just a Tacoma skidplate fitted with different brackets for the '02 4Runner Sport.

I fabbed up some cheapie simple brackets to extend the plate 3" to fit the fatlip bumper using the Tacoma brackets. I prefer the skidplate not be so low and forward like it is with the 4Runner brackets.


Plus for some reason if you find an actual one for the 4Runner it's alot more expensive than the Tacoma version for some reason. You can get the Tacoma version here for a little over $100 new.

All 01-02 Sport Editions come stock with them. They do not handle well off-road (ask me how I know). They should not be called skid plates. It's like calling running boards rock sliders.

Mine is removed for any and all off road ventures which takes all of 3 minutes. I love the look but people shouldn't use it for protection.
