Slider ordering options

Hey all, I was getting ready to pull the trigger on some Demello sliders, but one of the ordering options made me wonder.

I was looking at these: Demello Offroad

I'm going with the bolt-on option, and the powdercoat (although I'm thinking of skipping the texture)... but I'm wondering about the extra "legs". You can add two more "legs" for $40, but I have no idea what they're talking about, or if its necessary.

Thoughts?

Thinking if you are seriously off roading, weld them on but if it is for looks and the occasional rock, go with the extra legs.

I might have gone overkill but I ordered the extra legs on my Shrockworks Rock Sliders that I am finishing installing today. I go to Rausch Creek but not every week and I had the extra cash to do it without giving up my firstborn- although they can have her. Sliders aren't cheap and if you don't have the extra cash I think the rails are strong enuff but if you have the dough and want to extra protection go for it, I did. The black powder I got looks awesome! Good luck.

If you already have a body lift or aren't planning on one, weld it, and if you are actually off roading and plan to protect your body/doors then powdercoat isnt the best way to go. I used E Z - Liner (for truck beds) so when it's scratched I can do touch up work easily (comes in a spray can). RhinoLiner is a bit thicker and much tougher but strips off easily when damaged and is not so easy to do touchup work. Deffinatly get the legs if your out wheelin a bunch.
