slider question

My brother told me his 2013 Tahoe was at Sears getting serviced and fell off the lift. It damaged the running boards and doors pretty good. 4K in damages so far. It makes me want to get sliders because human error is a possibility in all things. My question... 4X innovations sliders seem to be the most affordable compared to CBI and Out Door Logic. Is there a reason? I really like the tire kick out that 4X has but should I save up for one of the others if they are built better? Not knocking 4X just wondering why they are so much less. Also if anyone has a lead on sliders for a 2013 Tahoe for my brother feel free to chime in so this doesn't happen to him again. Thanks in advance.

The 4x sliders are as well built as anything else on the market, everyone I know with them loves them too. Be warned that it does require a fair amount of welding to install though.

I got the savage HREW's w/kickout. They come all welded and have beefier gussets than the 4x's. They also have 4 main frame weld posts instead of the 3 from 4x. I believe the cost is negligible -

Yeah go with Savage Offroad. I love mine.

I have the 4x, I do think they are plenty strong enough for the weight of the truck even though they come with 3 legs and smaller gussets. I'm yet to drop the truck on them, but I have lifted the side of the truck up with a hi-lift with no flex in the slider. The price is low because it's a smaller company, but does great work. I would totally recommend using 4xinnovations.

Judging by the fact that you don't want them to bash around on boulders- I would say the cheaper of the 4xI sliders would even suffice. That's what I will be installing.
