These really look great! I like the rock lights built in.

Can the rock lights be linked to the door so they turn on whenever the door is opened?

Also interested in how far these stock out. Most sliders don’t really stick out far enough to be a useable step (which wife and kids need).

Yeah! That's how I wired mine, to the dome lights. If you look a little further up this thread I linked to the write up on how to do it :thumb3:

They're designed to be used as a step and a slider. They are about 4" wide.

How for do they stick out? Will they protect from door dings? Can one step over them when exiting the vehicle? Shipping cost to the "green zone"?

The sliders are about 4" wide and stick out far enough to protect the body from door dings and obstacles. Yeah, I always step over them on the way out. If you give the Shiloh a call today, she can give you an exact quote.

Also, just to clarify, they will fit a 2012 limited, no xreas and I understand I will have to trim the rockers to fit or use newer trail style.

The bottom of the slider is about 2 7/8" below the pinch seam, which looks like 1/2" above the bottom of the frame. The protection you gain is worth the small loss in ground clearance.

These will fit 2010+. On 2010-2013 & Limited's you will have to remove the rocker trim. :thumb3:
