The handle let go and came off. Looks like the plastic pegs inside broke and let go. The cover fabric is OK.
I would be surprised if it was possible to buy a replacement handle but don't want to buy the whole unit for around $100.
I would get some super strong epoxy, the kind where you mix the glue with the hardener, and glue it on. That stuff does not come loose forever. Or try to find one on ebay.
