1994 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD Manual. My first 4runner. Bought it with 197k. Worked tirelessly for 4 years. Only issue I had was blown hg. Once I discovered how versatile and fun it was to drive these trucks, I decided to move on to 3rd gen that offered 5VZE motor that can be supercharged.

Picked up a used sports hood from a local toyota dismantler. Took it to a paint shop to got it refreshed. I love it. :roll:

Took in for oil change and it turns out I need to replace both front drive axles (immediately) and radiator (fairly soon). Due to this, I won't be doing any cosmetic/fun upgrades. Instead I will be focusing on service/maintenance update.

Aftermath from snowboarding trip in Big Bear. 4WD worked flawlessly on snow and icy road conditions.

Recently upgraded TRD supercharger. I'm not too happy with the power to be quite honest. I also have problem with my automatic transmission shifting automatically at 25000 rpm. This is preventing me from enjoying the supercharger at a higher rpm. I've been asking around and have done research which ultimately led me to adding URD 7th Injector kit for tuning as a fix. Well - I placed an order for one today along with URD 2.2 pulley. I'm anxious for it to arrive soon and looking forward to learning more about my truck.

The 7th injector is just that, a 7th injector. It has nothing to do with your transmission's shift points.

Try pressing the "ECT" button. That should help you hold gears a little longer. I also turn off my overdrive on the freeway if I want it to stay up higher in the RPMs.

Look at your kickdown cable. See if it's adjusted properly
