slow acceleration and weird noise???

Another update. Talked with the mechanic and inspected the gas. Poured some on the ground and it wouldn't evaporate. Also very oily. Oh and it smells like deisel fuel. Tanker must have put deisel in the regular. The pump I used didn't even have a deisel option. Awaiting the phone call from the company.

well, I didn't see that coming.

I did think it was a misfire tho.
glad you got it fixed.

as to the tanker dropping in the wrong tank, it does happen, its rare but ive heard of it before.
not sure what the station/company will do about it tho.

Very interesting, thanks for getting back to us.

Except now I think I may be cursed for a while with having to take a sample sniff of the gas every time I fill up.

If my posts start sounding even more incoherent than usual, at least you'll know what happened.

All I can think about are the couple hundred of other cars who filled up with that same gas. Glad you got it figured out. Did you have the fuel filter replaced while everything was apart as preventative maintenance or was just cleaned?

They replaced the fuel filter.

As for the other hundred people. I think I was the only one. If not maybe one or two people. They shut down the pumps as I was pumping. And the tanker was there. I recall the tanker guy going inside then coming out with an employee behind him and they started blocking off all the pumps and anyone who tried to start filling couldn't and they said they had an electrical malfunction. I was still pumping.

Nice. So they let you drive away knowing you just filled up with a bad tank of gas. Hopefully it works out and you get some compensation.

I've got a few lawyers ready to go if they don't give me what I am asking. And then it's really gonna get bad.

I'm usually very anti-litigation, but them letting you drive away when they knew there was a problem is disgusting... I hope you don't need to go that route, but its good that you've already started down it.

they called me yesterday and said it is being investigated. i highly doubt the people at the pump actually reported it. thats why they blamed it an electrical error. however, i have the gas to prove it if i have to send that in i will. and ill just charge them more for my time and inconvenience. she said that if i dont hear from her by tomorrow to give her a call. i guarantee ill be calling. haha.
