Slow coolant leak...

Purchased a 2007 V6 with 150k miles on it a few months ago. When I test drove it, the coolant was low. I told the dealer to fill it up, and they did. Now the coolant is again at the low level marker.

I've kept my eye on the temp gauge because I've had issues with cars overheating before and it has't been an issue, and no issues with the oil being frothy when I changed it last month.

I'm wondering if coolant leaks are common with 4th gens? And is there a specific spot I should be looking for a leak? I see nothing under the car when I look...

The radiator is known to start leaking at the corners where the side tanks connects to the coils, usually at the bottom but check all corners, if the correct pink coolant is in it the leaks will show up as a pick crust/crystals.

Also can leak at the thermostat housing, again look for pink crust.

Otherwise look at all the coolant hoses and connections.

Check the radiator cap first. My broke a few years ago and had the same symptoms.
