Just picked up a '19 ORP 3 weeks ago and am looking to change the wheels. In looking at the options out there, I've noticed that quite a few seem to have small metallic "studs" near their circumference. I imagine some people like that look, but I'm not a fan myself. Just wondering though, if there is any practical purpose served by those studs, or if they are purely for aesthetic reasons?

A lot of states outlaw real beadlocks on the street. 99% of what you see is a simulated beadlock, just there for looks. Unless you're running big tires and airing down very low, there is no point in spend the $ on a real beadlock.
Ah, thanks guys. Learned something new today. I do remember reading in several places -- "If you don't know what beadlocks are, you don't need them."
