Figured I'd go ahead and get a thread going for my new 4runner. This is the newest and less mile vehicle that I've owned.

Not sure on the plans yet for this one since I need to sell my other one before I can do anything major.

While waiting for my 02 4runner to sell I went a ahead and did an easy mod and upgrade the tail lights to the newer style. I like the look of these tail lights a lot better over the stock ones. I also took her out on her first maiden voyage to Temple Canyon Park, an easy dirt road that was covered with snow in the shaded areas.

Looks much better with these tail lights.

Suspension/tire update:

Sonoran Steel lift is sitting in my garage waiting to be installed
SPC/Lighting Racing UCA are on order from FatBob's (yes, I've read the multiple post of folks having issues but I had them on my 3rd gen with no issues).
275/70/17 Cooper AT3 going on this weekend

How big of a lift did you put on to clear your 275s? I have the same size Mickey Thompson ATZ P3's sittin in my garage that were going to go on my 2014 Tacoma, so I'm hoping I can fit 'em under my new 2015 4Runner.. Thanks!

New tires just went on yesterday and it's time now to install that lift.

No lift needed. I have LT275/70r17 Coopers on my truck and they dont rub.

Congratulations! IMHO the Classic Silver 5th Gen TE is the nicest looking T4R :first:

Looks good SmallFry... now you need to really break it in on Broken Arrow. I'm sure your trailer hitch could use some "adjusting" like mine got the last time!

Kind of nice how a little bit of a lift can change the look and feel of a vehicle

Lift - Sonoran Steel
UCA - SPC/Light Racing

Easy run today along Phantom Canyon Road and Shelf Road part of the Gold Belt Tour.

Phantom Canyon Tunnel #2

Shelf Road, with a view of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains in the background (the best I could get).

On the Shelf Road I could tell the different in size between my old 3rd gen and the 5th gen especially when passing other vehicles through the narrow sections.

Outpost Off Road Sliders from MetalTech

Finished painting the sliders today and just let them dry.

Phantom Creek Trail Run

Quick and dirty trail run to Phantom Creek Trail (made up by FS 362-364).

Hayman Fire burn scar (lots of trees in the way so it was hard to get a good photo)

Pikes Peak

Somewhere on FS364

At the intersection of FS 363 and FS 364
